행성 소개

《행성》(The Planets, Op. 32)은 영국의 작곡가 구스타브 홀스트가 쓴, 관현악을 위한 모음곡이다. 작곡자에게 점성술을 가르쳐 준 클리포드 백스의 제안으로 1914년에 착상하여 1916년에 작곡을 마쳤으며 1920년 10월 10일 버밍엄에서 애플비 매슈스(Appleby Matthews)의 지휘로 초연되었다.
